Sprinkles Westlake Village

I have not been to Sprinkles in years. I was surprised at some changes. First off, they no longer serve ice cream. My daughter loved getting ice cream with her cupcake. Second, they no longer physically take your order at the counter. You have to now order thru a kiosk. I'm wondering on busy weekends how effective this is. It takes some time to browse flavors and read thru their seasonal selections. I am imagining that this could slow down a line of people waiting that know exactly what they want. The woman grabbing our cupcakes was very friendly. She answered our questions but on a rainy Tuesday morning, we were the only customers there. Sad to see dark chocolate banana no longer a flavor but I will settle for their current banana cupcake. Looking for gluten free and sugar free? They offer both in their red velvet cupcake.

Great little spot for cupcakes and ice cream. They even have sugarfree and gluten free options for those who need it. We stopped in today and had the cinnamon and sugar cupcake with the triple chocolate ice cream. The cupcake was topped with a cream cheese icing which isn't my favorite, but my wife loved it. The ice cream was rich, creamy, and delicious. The clerk was friendly, patient and helpful.
