I have mixed feelings. First the things I love: They have a great selection of healthy options (exotic fruits and veggies) not always available at bigger chain grocery stores. They also offer some good international options and a lot of foods that meet specialized dietary needs (gluten free, dairy free, etc). There are some employees who are very friendly, patient, and kind. The folks at the meat counter and one particular gal (who I think may be a manager or supervisor) consistently smile, greet you, and offer assistance. The bulk section is awesome and their house-made salted almond butter is SO GOOD. Seriously if you take anything at all from this review, just go buy the salted almond butter in the bulk section and thank me later. Prices are fair for what you’re getting. They have good sales sometimes as well as coupons on their app that can also be applied. Their pre-made meals and sushi selection are good. Lots of yummy, easy stuff to grab for busy lifestyles. Here are the things that I don’t love: Check your berries/produce - after buying strawberries and blueberries several times only to get them home and find them to all be moldy did I finally start checking in the store. And many times, they’re all moldy and I can’t find one single container that’s good. I watched an employee loading whole cases of moldy strawberries onto a display and undoubtedly people bought them without knowing. Likewise, check the expiration dates on other items you buy as well - not uncommon to see items past their expiration or best by dates on the shelves. As other reviewers have mentioned, the deli is slow and in the few times I’ve gotten their deli meat or cheese, I have been made to feel like I was inconveniencing them. And also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the cashier situation is hit or miss. Some are friendly but many times they aren’t and you will be again, made to feel like you’re unwelcome and inconveniencing them by merely going through their checkout line. Overall, I do like the store. I assume maybe some of the staffing issues are much like the staffing issues everywhere. And also, I assume the cashiers also take their fair share of grief from customers, which I’m sure affects them too. So I try not to let it make or break my experience. Worth checking out for sure if it’s convenient to you.
