St. Stephen's Green Publick House

The food is plentiful, tasty, and well presented. The Irish offering is delicious. The service is top-notch. The staff takes food allergies VERY seriously. I am gluten intolerant AND shellfish and mollusk allergic, and I have been confidently eaten here for years. There is live entertainment often. The atmosphere is convivial and quintessentially irish. We love to talk eat drink and laugh. Not necessarily in that order! There are the locals and the. There is the Irish! PSThis IS a restaurant, not McDonald's. You will have to wait to eat, especially during The Season. Plan accordingly. I can't recommend this place enough!

We had a large group on a very busy night. There was live music, which we enjoyed greatly, and the food was fantastic! Our waitstaff took good care of us, with the exception of forgetting to refill drinks, but it was extremely busy and stuff happens. The gluten free options were numerous and I didn’t feel “left out” because I couldn’t touch most of the menu. We had a great time!
