Stable Rock Winery & Distillery

This winery is awesome. We like to come on Sundays when the flights are half off. I signed up for their reward program and it builds up quickly. There are a lot of different wines for different customers, I like more red and dry and my husband like more sweet- Stable Rock has all of these and lots in-between. I saw a sign of theirs that said the use fully solar power to run the winery which is awesome to see. We came with two kids (they had tablets and kept quite) who were welcomed. We have not eaten here. I have Celiac, and they have gluten free options, I asked about their cross contamination process and it doesn't sound safe. There is no separate area, but that's ok for me. I can eat first or bring in my own safe food, and then go to the winery. For somewhere half way between Waukesha and Madison, this is the perfect stop.

Outstanding atmosphere; comfortable, casual with interesting decor connected to this historic building. The menu is perfect for snacks with your drink of choice; reasonably priced as well. Looking forward to some more gluten and dairy free food choices in the future.
