With all the great reviews, I was expecting really good food. It was ok. My husband ordered an omelet and didn't want the gobs of carbs that went with it, so he asked to substitute, and the waitress said there would be an upcharge...ok. so for two sausage links, the size of your thumb, it was $4.50. I ordered the gluten-free French toast. The toast slices were the size of a small childs hand, and something was off with the chocolate milk. It didn't taste spoiled, but it didn't taste good either.

Stacks is the best family breakfast spot in the town of Waxhaw. I have visited Stacks many times and every time I come here my experience is just as good as the last. The staff is very efficient and are quick to help with any problems a customer may have. I have had many fun conversations here because the staff is so easy to talk to. Whenever I go here, I always get the homemade French toast and some freshly squeezed orange juice. This is my go-to meal because it tastes amazing. Stacks also includes a variety of gluten free options, which allows me to recommend this breakfast place to my friends with allergies. Whenever I think of stacks, I think of quality memories with friends and families. Sometimes on the weekends during rush hour there is a decent wait time, but for me it's always worth it to wait. Also, the staff doesn't try to rush you out so you can take you time and enjoy your food. I 100% recommend a visit to stacks if you are in town. This diner style restaurant has a lot to offer, and once you visit once you are bound to stop by again.
