Stadtkind

We were in Stadtkind with a group of almost 30 people and, despite understanding the current shortage of personnel and skilled workers, we had to experience some challenges. The first round of drinks went smoothly, but after that the chaos began. People asked several times for a barbecue burger, which no one had ordered anymore. After initially being taken back, after five minutes he reappeared several times with the same question. The wait between the first and last dish served was over 45 minutes, and one meal was even completely forgotten. Unfortunately, a lot went wrong when reordering the drinks: the wrong drinks were served, and the recipe for one drink apparently couldn't be found. In the end, the discrepancies took away our desire to place further orders. What should be highlighted positively, however, is the gluten-free burger selection - a commendable plus point! The food itself corresponds to typical system catering: neatly prepared, but nothing special in terms of taste.

I have to take back my very positive review and am shocked by the incorrectly declared menu and the responsible waitress at Stadtkind BS. For health reasons, I eat gluten-free and am always happy about a menu as varied as that at Stadtkind. The waitresses also seem to know their theoretical stuff very well; I was there twice in a week - and then not again. The gluten-free burger was great and I had a cocktail with it. When I placed the order, when asked, I mentioned that I could tolerate traces of gluten (up to 20 ppm) and that would cause problems. The food was delicious, the drink too. The straw eventually became a bit slimy. For the second cocktail, I asked what the straw was made of; it is a colored noodle. According to the menu, the classic cocktails do not contain any allergens. I assumed it was a cardboard straw, the slimy thing was wheat. The excuse was that many people would just order gluten-free burgers and I should have explicitly mentioned that I was sick. Well, I have. And rely on the correctness of the card (the declaration requirement also applies to drinks and aids such as straws). The autoimmune reaction that followed was long and painful. I thank you for this experience.
