Those few of you who follow my posts will agree that I am very frugal with my 5 Star reviews. The Stage Coach Grille is a well-earned exception to this standard. I used the scientific method to select this establishment: their open sign was on at 1:00 pm.
The entry portal was greeted by a couple of western swinging doors like you would see at the Long Branch Saloon. (Not to worry, while they do serve alcoholic beverages, they also have a plethora of non-alcoholic Coke products. AND ... The lovely waitresses are tasteful and modesty dressed. We were seated on the northern enclosed porch. The lunch menu offered salads and burgers and sandwiches. My wife prefers gluten-free selections. A gluten-free menu was quickly provided. She selected the Chicken Marcalle. I went for the steak sandwich with fried zucchini.
When it arrived, it looked amazing. I dove right in bouncing between the pickle, zucchini, and sandwich. My wife was just thrilled with her chicken. She shared a bite with me. Thereafter, I longingly coveted the remainder of her meal. It was soooo delicious, as was my steak sandwich.
Service was great and helpful. The restrooms were clean. We spent $60. We can't wait to return to try out their dinner menu.
