Please train staff on allergies and ingredients. The space is beautiful however I was really frustrated after telling staff I couldn’t eat gluten and the waitress did ask kitchen staff what I could have however what she was told was not correct. I was attending a baby shower here and the waitress was told I could have the French onion soup with removing the fried onions. I bit into the soup before I noticed there was bread under the cheese. I understand this is a typical way to make French onion soup however I shared my allergy and was told I was given something that was safe for me to eat. Gluten is also present in many sauces and dressings and it didn’t seem as though the people preparing the food were familiar with this very common intolerance/allergy. Luckily mine is just intolerance so all I have is an upset stomach however some people have an allergy which would have been a whole lot worse. Please do better.
