On a fateful day 2 years ago I came here for a bite to eat. Little did I know this would change my life forever. When I entered the store I was greeted kindly and was recommended to try some of their samples, so I did. I decided on the apple cupcake with maple buttercream. I remember this as clearly as the waters of my home country of Greece. Megan came out to talk to me and this was the start of my long-term friendship with her. We talked about how the times when I moved here and what it was like being from another country and assimilating to my new environments and the difficulty I experienced when doing this. That is why Megan Stahr the owner of Stah'rs Cakes will always hold a place as my friend. I would come in almost every week just to talk with Megan. All the staff would greet me by name and would always give me slight discounts for being a long-term customer. This was a great time. But, the frequency of my visits was cut when I realized the adverse health effects on my diabetes. I didn't come in for 5 months and I felt depressed without seeing my friend. Then one day I received a text from Megan saying that she would be adding sugar-free gluten-free and even vegan options to the menu. I was ecstatic. This day was yesterday. These options will be coming soon and now I can finally come back to see my friend. Thank you Megan.
