Star of Siam

I am a fan of Thai food and curry in general, so I got the beef curry. The portion was pretty good and definitely filled my up and had a nice heat to it. Any of the spicy or gluten free dishes are marked on the menu. The Thai iced tea wasn't bad either, but nothing really blew me away. Everything just tasted a bit above average, nothing really that special. The atmosphere and interior is nice and I had a good time, but the waitress was very pushy and trying to hurry us along. Which was fine when half our group knew what we wanted, but it seemed to annoy her when we needed to take a bit more time helping the other people in our group with deciding what to have. Overall the restaurant is good, at least above average, but wouldn't necessarily be my first choice.

I ordered delivery from home so that it would arrive when I got to work downtown. The order came right on time, hot, delicious and with napkins, plastic cutlery and extra chili sauce. I could not have been more delighted. Tom Kha w/shrimp soup and Tom Sum salad were prepared perfectly and all the flavors were in balance! I appreciate how the menu gives allergen information. Thank you, Star of Siam! I will be a repeat customer for sure!
