I recently went to State and Main with my mom who is severely allergic to gluten and we had an incredible experience. Our waiter Madeline made sure to relay my mom's allergy to the chefs and my mom didn't get sick afterwards (Which is quite common with eating out as many restaurants accidently cross-contaminate food). The food was also delicious and they had a special menu for my mom to choose from which made her feel very included. I'm deaf so it was hard to hear but that's par for the course in restaurants. However, the best part of our night was having our wonderful waiter Madeline, who offered us the best service and hospitality.
