Steak 48 Del Mar

Very expensive for a what you get IMO. The brussel sprouts state you need to get them. Don’t! It was replaced with their charred cauliflower- not much better tbh. Steak was excellently prepared and the wine list is off the charts. They made great effort for desert with me being celiac. Just wish there were more pastry chefs out there that could offer 2-3 naturally GF deserts like lava cake.

We celebrated our anniversary here and we were pleasantly surprised compared to the establishments previously at this location. The KC strip and sea bass were amazing but it was the mushroom side dish that stole the show for us. The portions were generous and the service was great - Mario and Ben went above and beyond to make our experience positive. The menu is pretty well marked for gluten free options and they were able to accommodate dairy free requests in many cases also. The blood orange sorbet was fantastic.
