Almost like in Vienna, very pleasant, very tasty, very inviting. So why almost - expensive (well not very). And still cheaper than a plane ticket. So for a little taste from abroad it's worth every shekel. We were surprised to find many gluten free options which will surely keep us coming back.

Better to wait for a good deal to Vienna We were here before, following an article on the internet - and we were disappointed. Following another article we read not long ago - we came back to try again. Let's start with the good: The glow wine (hot wine) (25 NIS) was very good and likewise the Austrian tea infusion (16 NIS). The Cardinal Schnitt cake (36 NIS) - a sponge roll filled with whipped cream and homemade jam (very tasty) was not bad - but also not something special. The fall began with the Maroni Torte (42 NIS) - a chestnut mousse cake topped with chestnut spaghetti. The first bite tasted bad. My wife realized that the problem was with the coating of the chestnut spaghetti - it was horribly sweet in a disgusting kind of sweetness. We gently removed it, and the rest was absolutely delicious. We took home a gluten-free Esterhazi Torte (NIS 42) which wasn't bad, but we've already eaten better than it. The toppen cherry strudel and the toppen apricot strudel (38 NIS 21) were really a downfall. The dough was far from being a strudel dough like in "Demmel" or "Landtmann". The toppen (sour cheese, very popular in Austria) was not toppen! I ate It's enough in Austria to know that the cherries were sour. If that's what Stefan meant - it should have been written on the menu Sour cherries, and we would have given up on filling the cherries, but the apricot was sour at the level of an unripe fruit! There are excellent confectioneries in Israel. This is not one of them. Unfortunately we will not return.
