Located in a quiet residential area off Florida Road, just pulling into the shady parking lot sets the tone for your visit… quiet, tranquil. Walking through the unpretentious entrance into a pleasant, plant-filled interior furthers the vibe: soothing, relaxing. Clearly, this is not your average coffee house. But of course there’s coffee. The delicious aromas of fresh-brewed grinds from Sweet Bloom Roasters in Denver fill the interior. There’s also matchas, chais and other teas, served by the friendliest baristas in town. Small tables are generously spaced around two large rooms; a great place to settle down with a steaming cup, open the laptop and drift into your own private world. If you happened to notice the bakery display, you’ll probably bring something more to your table, like turmeric ginger cookies, sumptuous gougeres (a fluffy french pastry) or gluten-free blackberry blondies.Oh my God! All baked fresh in-house by Odd Bird Bakery. Whether it’s a chat with a friend, serious study session or some internet surfing, you’re guaranteed to leave with a pleasant taste in your mouth… and totally chilled.
