Stone L'Oven Pizza Brewster

The food was great, some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, upon ordering a 2nd time we found out that the Gluten-Free pizza crust contains soybean oil and was served to my wife who has a gluten and soy allergy. She was violently ill after dinner but we weren’t sure what caused it. Just a fair warning to anyone who has an allergy to be careful and make sure to keep an EPI Pen ready! *Edit for some clarification* I appreciate the response. Just wanted to clarify, we went to your restaurant and informed our server of the gluten and soy allergy and they confirmed with the kitchen and told us that there wouldn’t be any issues. My wife became violently ill that night after getting home but weren’t sure what the cause was. Upon ordering a second time for take-out, that was when we were informed by the manager of the soybean oil in the gluten-free crust AND the salad dressing that she was served as well the first time we went. Understanding the importance of informing the staff, and how severe her allergies are, we did inform our server who told us that everything we ordered was safe. Again, it wasn’t until we ordered a second time a manager informed us of the ingredients over the phone.

My family and I came for dinner and we ordered the fig and ham, meatball, and a really sweet and tasty sweet potatoe and bacon pie. They had some gluten free options as well for my mother in law. All around neat restaurant with some delicious stone fired oven pizza !
