SuViche – Sushi and Ceviche

Delicious good and fun atmosphere. It’s also really friendly to people with celiac disease offering a whole gluten free menu! Thank you Carlos for the great service.

My family and I visited this restaurant on a Monday Jan 8th. The restaurant was pretty empty and yet the waiter took a very long time to service our table. He had a good disposion but wasn't well trained on dietary restrictions like gluten free and vegetarian. Our order took a very long time, and when it finally arrived several things were off. First the same roll was ordered twice but one was suppose to be a gluten free version yet neither of yhe rolls was marked. How did the waiter know which was gluten free? To make matters worse not all the rolls and people seated were served. One roll took so long the rest of us had finished our meal and the excuse given was that that particular roll takes longer.... Suggestion - have the menu state that and/or have the waiter inform the patron so the patron can make an educated decision. Eventually a different waitress supported the waiter and she seemed to be more knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. Does this restaurant realize this could be life or death for some? Then to add insult to injury the restaurant "manager" came to our table. Interestingly, I didn't ask to see a manager, I just wanted to leave this restaurant as soon as possible. She apologized for the wait, justified it saying it was because the "special roll" and did absolutely nothing to offset this terrible disappointment. I could have thought the waiter was to blame, but this told me everything. Train your managers and waiters. Definitely never going here again.
