Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream

Sub-Zero is so far beyond ordinary ice cream it's hard to believe they reside in the same universe. My fave is a retired flavor called 'fruity fusion' in the original base, and they kindly mix it up for me though it's no longer on the menu. The nitrogen is fun to watch and makes it freeze differently somehow--utterly scrumptious. The employees are really friendly and helpful here too. I'm gluten free (celiac disease) and when asked they are happy to use clean utensils to avoid contamination. My family's preferred ice cream for many years...now if only they had a branch in AF :)

A lot of people like subzero for the wow factor the liquid nitrogen gives, but that only lasts one visit (unless you are a kid). I like subzero because the taste and texture is different than any other ice cream. It isn’t my favorite place by any means but I enjoy going every now and then. Great gluten-free and soy options. This particular location was clean with a friendly staff.
