Sugar and Spice Pahrump Bistro and Bakery

I like to travel, and one of my favorite things is finding hidden gluten free gems. I was impressed to say the least. We met the owner who was more than accommodating and knowledgeable. I ended up with one of almost everything! Breakfast was a Grilled cheese Breakfast Sandwich (bacon, a nice thick layer of egg, pepper jack, sautéed onions and bell peppers). The sandwich held up great and was the perfect start to the day. Next up was a gluten free sugar cookie…. I took a bite and in the middle of chewing stopped to double the label… the texture was so perfect I had second guessed it. After that was a GF chocolate brownie… let’s talk texture. Finding the balance between moist but not dense and fluffy but not dry….. it takes a talent…. This shop 100% has that talent mastered. To say the least, I was impressed at this point. Other great recommendations (all gluten free) cakesicles (like a cake pop of magic shaped like a mini popsicle), peanut butter cookie (*if you crave that PB cookie that screams “home”, look no further.), lemon cookie, pumpkin muffin! Seriously, Jessica DeJarnett and the team at Sugar and Spice Pahrump NAILED the gluten free science. Round of appliance and take a bow!
