Sugarpine Drive-In

Truly my ideal spot to eat. Friendliest staff ever, dog friendly, incredibly delicious food, and fabulous ice cream to finish the meal. I knew the ice cream would be good from the pics, but I was shocked how good the rice bowl I had was. Not only was it HUGE, but it was so flavorful. They were also very accommodating to my gluten allergy!! One of my new faves in Portland!

Phenominal Experience!! Service was so friendly!! Classic Drive-in Dinner atmosphere!! The food was out of this world phenominal!! I had the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I have never had cheese stretch and stretch before. Sooo goood!! My wife had the Mississippi pulled pork sandwich and it was so flavorful!! My son had the meat special sandwich, pork tenderloin, and it too was so flavorful!! My daughter-in-law had the Mississippi pulled pork as a rice bowl as she is gluten free and once again she too loved her dish saying it was so flavorful!! The Drive-in is very gluten free friendly. To top off our great experience we each had an ice cream sundae. My son and daughter-in-law had chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream with caramel, Toasted marshmallow, and brownie bite toppings. My wife and I had chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream with honey hot fudge, Toasted marshmallow, and brownie bite toppings. The creamiest ice cream we have ever had. And the marshmallow topping was Toasted as if over a campfire. So amazing and sooo goood!!!! Highly, highly, highly recommend this place. May have to come back the next time we visit Portland!!
