This place holds generations of nostalgia for my family and you can see why when you walk in. The decor and vibe are exactly what you want and expect from a local ice cream place. The food is great. Love that they have gluten free bread so my spouse can still have a big bacon cheeseburger. They have a lot of wonderful options for ice cream, although admittedly I’ve only ever had (and only ever will get) the peanut butter cup sundae with peanut butter cup ice cream. You can tell the ice cream is made on site because it must also share a mixer with the mint flavors. There is always just the slightest hint of mint and honestly it just helps complete the vibe. We make the drive from Holyoke when the craving hits and it’s worth it every time.
