I love Summer House! This was my first time dining here and our party was a mix of vegetarian, carnivore & celiac looking for brunch…we thought this would be a great choice to cater to all of us and it is! I easily made a reservation online, parked in a garage nearby, was seated almost immediately by Brian (sp?). He was truly amazing from start to finish, I’m not sure if he’s a manager but he definitely handled business! Our waitstaff seemed truly happy to be there and were uber attentive, perfect service. They took my celiac disease extremely seriously, it’s clearly marked as an allergy or cross contamination risk in the kitchen straight to the table. They cooked our fries in their gluten-free fryer so that I could enjoy the appetizer too. THE FOOD!!! DELICIOUS!!! We had the Parmesan truffle fries…delicately cut shoestring fries that were tossed with rosemary, salt, pepper, Parmesan & truffle oil. Yum. I opted for the breakfast tostadas which were so flavorful, crunchy, meaty, beans with soul, eggs cooked over easy perfectly….OMG. I was delighted to see that they had a gluten-free option in the cookie bar! I was ready to order one to take home with me when my friend asked for the check. When it arrived I joked with Brian that he forgot to put my cookie on the bill…just a joke but Brian gave all who wanted one a cookie on the house and comped our appetizer too since it was our first visit there. Bless him! I’m not joking when I say this is one of the best experiences I’ve had dining out in a long time. Thanks for catering to celiacs & providing tantalizing options for vegetarians too. Phenomenal all the way around, thanks again. Will definitely make the trip to back to see what goodies they add or switch up in the future.
