We have been staying at the Summit during ski season for the last five years. The staff was wonderful and yes the rooms are dated but always clean . The salt water hot tub is amazing. Prices have gone up I get it BUT there is no more coffee bar for early morning which I absolutely loved !! And the deal breaker is no breakfast !!! Their idea of breakfast consists of bagel toast cereal and yogurt 😏unfortunately hubby is gluten free and certainly wouldn’t survive a ski day on yogurt ! Not to mention the price includes breakfast !!! Understanding times are different but a ski lodge needs a decent breakfast!!! We are not giving up but would hope to see improvement soon !

I would highly recommend Summit Lodge right in the heart of Killington ski area. Very Rustic. My niece was recently married there (Oct 2, 2021). The resort had a small staff but they were all INCREDIBLE. Thank you Emmit (the owner) Angie n Brie (front desk and wedding venue, and so many other responsibilities), Dave n Chuck (lol the ghost of Summit Lodge, hehe), (Maintenance, setup, and keeping that fire roaring everyday, and can't forget our wonderful bartenders Anna, Brooke and Dana (always smiling faces even with a crazy crowd like us). It was a cloudy, drizzly day of the wedding so the crew waited to make sure that the weather would clear before they set up the chairs on the lawn near the gazebo. Low and behold, the sun came out and God what an amazing setting it was. Each staff member had there own responsibilties for the wedding. Walky talkies, earbuds to communicate with each other. The most incredible wooded setting, trees changing for taking pictures. The reception was just as incredible, Delicious Filet, Salmon and also Gluten menu. We all danced the night away then to the after party in O'Dwyer's Pub located at the lodge downstairs. Served us all some snacky food and of course cocktails continued well past midnight......Plenty to do here. Bocco, Cornhole, shuffleboard, pool table, giant outside chess board, Sauna, hot tub, heated pool. Multiple stone fireplaces burning all day in lodge, Comfy common livingroom for all to gather, cute library on second floor with plenty of recent and old school reading. I Would definitely go back and highly recommend Summit Lodge. I'd give this lodge at 5++++++ star rating. Thank you again for an amazing 5 days.
