Sunn Cafe

Made a trip to Mt. Horeb for a short visit this morning. Was looking for a breakfast/brunch place and found Sunn Cafe and decided to try it out. Things I liked: a) Staff members were very friendly and accommodating. b) Gluten free bread for sandwiches and toast. c) Unsweetened iced tea (strawberry/peach flavor was very good!) d) LGBTQ+ friendly e) Lots of seating options inside and out f) Comfortable and roomy environment g) Food was tasty. All items were enjoyable. We had the Avocado Toast (GF bread), Breakfast Sandwich (GF bread), Grilled Cheese with side of Broccoli Cheddar Soup. Suggestions for improvement: a) Took quite awhile for our food to come out. b) Recommend including sides with breakfast items (fruit or greens). Would definitely come here again. Did not try the coffee drinks.

Lovely independently owned coffee shop and restaurant! They specialize in healthier but delicious, sustainable food options. My husband is addicted to their breakfast sandwiches. They have fantastic baked treats daily. Most, if not all, are gluten-free, which is clearly fantastic if you have food sensitivities. I don't, but still enjoy them immensely. There are lots of seating options, including outdoor seating for warmer months. The staff are very friendly. It's easy to see why this is a favorite for many locals, Duluth Trading company employees, and tourists. Note: they close mid-afternoon and sadly aren't open on Sundays
