Nice selection, especially for local and hard to find items for our family including preferred brands and products of vegan, gluten free, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Only reason not 5 stars is that prices on the non specialty items run relatively high.

Fantastic grocery store for a quick stop of for service from yesteryear. Pretty good selection of gluten free and unique or higher quality items for a mid sized store. Fish monger, butcher, deli, wine and flowers and fresh made sushi. They unload your cart and keep a good number of checkstands open all the time. If you're tired of the employees who don't speak to you when you check out, stop at Sunset Foods, especially in Highland Park. You'll feel that you've stepped back in time in all the best ways!!
