Sunset Grille

We were staying at the Hilton so decided to have dinner there one night. It was a bit pricy but well worth it. When we walked in we were immediately asked about food allergies by the host. When the waiter came over he confirmed them. Every one was super knowledgeable about gluten free. Lots of options or things that can be made gluten free. Even gave me my own basket of gluten free bread. Our original table was wobbly after a failed attempt to make it not wobble the waiter moved our table without any issue. Super cozy place to eat. The staff made you feel like family.

Beautiful restaurant, very professional, well trained staff. I had the lamb chops and mashed potatoes with a wedge salad. As most of the food in Aruba is, underseasoned, so was mine. I expected this due to the overwhelming, elderly crowd in Aruba, so these were not the best lamb chops I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were very interesting. At first I thought they had truffle oil in them and then I realized they put a tiny bit of nutmeg in there. Very tasty! Minus one star because they leave gluten-free customers in limbo while everyone else is chowing down on a variety of breads and fancy butter. I was getting ready to eat my napkin just before the meal came.
