We were wandering downtown when our son-in-law spotted the sign. "Mead?! Let's go!!"
It's dark, funky downstairs with a cool pirate-ship cargo hold feel. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We had no idea what to do so, of course, got a large flight of meads and ciders. The different styles and tastes were amazing, as well as the house tapenade. (Gluten-free crackers - yay!) Duh-licious!
My favorite was the War Honey but the Coffee Marionberry is a close second. If you've never tried it, you owe it to yourself. It's a Renaissance Fair in your mouth.
Seriously. Go now.
