Sushi Nami Royale (Bayer's Lake)

They were so understanding and accommodating when I called ahead to let them know I have celiac. I felt very safe eating there - they were super attentive and confidently able to recommend gluten free options (not a ton of options, but they had exactly what I wanted) and they were able to make the food without cross-contact. They even had gluten free soy sauce! The food was good, the service was excellent, and the location is very cute.

We've been here many times and enjoyed it (sorry for no reviews prior to this) however, my spouse has been recently diagnosed as celiac and the restaurant wasn't all that prepared for this situation. We asked what items were gluten free to which they vaguely advised that most items could be make gluten free. It wasn't clear on what was or wasn't gluten free. It was not a great experience for a celiac patron unfortunately. The food we did get was good, it just didn't feel like it was ready to handle these inquiries.
