Sushi Umi (North Vancouver)

Sushi rolls are large and tasty. Ordered the North shore, spider, & 2 other rolls can't remember. There was something in them that caused me to feel unwell. Next time I'll try a different roll without sauces. (Except gluten free soy sauce).

What an authentic, Japanese experience! Five stars for DELICIOUSNESS and I'm super impressed with the vegan and gluten free options. I loved that the menu has the green leaf indicating veggie options. I would LOVE it if the new menu comes out with a GF sign indicating what is safe for those of us who have allergies. Family friendly establishment with loads of families. Adorable old fashioned glass coke bottles 🥰 The decor is just gorgeous!!! Thank you June our server for amazing and knowledgable service. The Lady who seats people did not know what gluten free or vegan was, but we were hungry so I just hailed another server who had better English who could tell me that you do indeed have these options. Two out of the three servers were fantastic. The door lady, not so much. She's not good for your business.
