What can I say about Bichi Sushi? It's a hidden restaurant in the heart of North Beach. The vibe you feel when you're there is exceptional. Being right on the beach is priceless. Watching the sunset and the patio lights turn on as the sun sets is incredible.
The people who work at Bichi are exceptional. James, Hayes, and Rui make the experience amazing. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, they always help you with a smile. You can really tell they love what they do. Again, it's priceless.
Last night, Dasha served us, extremely friendly and kind. But it wasn't my first time there for dinner. I've also been served by Josh, Jean Carlos, Sasha, Skai, Ross, and Lauren, and each of them is trained to make your experience INCREDIBLE. Plus, you can tell they're really good people, and what better way to have someone like that help you during your dinner.
Chefs Byron and Shoyo know exactly what they're doing. The food is something else, simply exquisite. No matter what dish you order, whether it's ceviche, tiradito, a roll, a burger, or salmon, everything is incredible, you won't regret it.
I also want to mention the wide variety of innovative desserts they have, all homemade thanks to Vanesa, delicious. There are gluten-free options and vegan mochis. If you go, order the matcha tres leches or the smores cake—10/10!!!
We always have to mention the bar, and of course: the drinks are delicious. They have a wide variety of wines, bichi cocktails, mocktails, and many, many sake options. My favorite: OMOTENASHI. You won't regret it.
The people who work at sushi bichi make you feel at home; they're like family and they make you part of your entire experience.
