Sushi Ushi Japanese Restaurant

Great sushi and prices. All the food came out fairly fast. We ordered the love boat. I believe it was $60 which was very good considering the quantity and quality. My favorites were the salmon belly, spicy tuna, and the roll with avocado on top. Others at my table ordered pork ramen, Mexican roll, bagel roll, inari sushi, and salad, and all were very good. The inari sushi was not in the typical shape with rice inside tofu pockets - instead the tofu skin was cut up and the rice was wrapped around it, which was unexpected but still tasted good. The server was very kind to explain which sushi was raw and which was cooked to those who had a preference. They also had gluten free soy sauce. Overall, enjoyed my experience. I would definitely come back here.

I absolutely LOVE this place! the best restaurant in Valrico, Florida 💓💓💓 Sushi is my favorite food and i’ve tried out multiple places in the area, but Sushi Ushi is by far the best. Their sushi is amazing, fresh, and high quality. I usually get takeout and the receptionists are so friendly and easy to talk to! I also love how well they can accommodate my food allergies (gluten and garlic). They even have gluten free soy sauce! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious takeout meal. Unfortunately I’ve never dined in myself (i prefer to bring the food home and watch in front of the tv), but it looks very cozy to sit inside and eat with a friend!
