We visited Sweet Katie B’s in O’Fallon, Illinois today after finding it online while searching for new gluten-free bakeries and it did not disappoint! We’re from St. Louis, so it was a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it. We showed up early and were pleasantly surprised by how many gluten-free options they had (way more than we expected). Since it was still morning, we ordered breakfast: gluten-free biscuits and gravy, a hash brown-crusted broccoli and cheddar quiche (my personal favorite), and a quiche Lorraine with bacon that was also so good. I genuinely could’ve eaten another whole broccoli cheddar quiche because it was that delicious. They also had a big gluten-free pastry case with items like cinnamon rolls, which we didn’t try this time but definitely will in the future. The service was just as good as the food. Everyone we interacted with seemed to genuinely care—especially about gluten-free guests. From what I understand, the owners and their daughter (who helped us and was super kind and helpful) are all gluten-free themselves, which really shows in the attention to detail. All around, such a great experience. We’ll absolutely be back.

AMAZING gluten free options!! The breakfast panini with chipotle aioli is my favorite thing. Also, the gravy is gluten free and that is so rare! Definitely recommend the gluten free biscuits and gravy. If you’re looking for a good coffee, the Mayan Mocha has been my go to for years. The crème brûlée French toast is really good from what I hear (not gluten free but smells amazing!) My favorite small business to go to! #SupportLocal

I just bought gluten-free cupcakes and I threw them in the trash. They’re sooooooo dry and they did not taste good at all! Chocolate and a vanilla cupcake. And the frosting tasted straight like butter my gluten free box cupcakes at home are way moist and better tasting than this.
