Sweet Melissa Bakery & Coffee Shop

Sweet Melissa's is always an absolute delight. Staff is kind, patient and accommodating (Shout-out to Gianluca, Annie and Sydney!). As someone with Celiac's it's also really nice to have a bakery to go to that is so careful and considerate of a wide variety of dietary needs and restrictions. I've gotten several pastries and other items over the years since I discovered this gem in the heart of Middletown and I have never once had a cross-contamination reaction. My husband and I have occasionally stopped in to have dates here and I could easily spend the day writing here. There are games available for kids too, so it's really a family-friendly spot. Anyone who needs (or wants) a bakery absolutely can and should patronize Sweet Melissa's!

Cutest place with such a large variety of sweets! Grab and go cakes for any event that are out of this world. Love her gluten free options for all my celiacs sufferers like me!! Let’s not even start about the seasonal decor. This is a must go and try place.

Sweet Melissa's is always my go to for gluten free cup cakes . I can't find them down by the beach where I live so I always make a point of stopping by and getting them when I'm in town. So delicious!
