Sweet Spot Cupcakes

Frankly very disappointed with my recent order from Sweet Spot. I've gone in and bought cupcakes from the front counter several times and never once had any issue, however this was my first time ordering in advance, four red velvet and two gluten-free vanilla. One of the vanilla ones has a deep groove carved into the side of it, as if it was nearly split and mushed back together. The red velvet ones all had the buttercream frosting offset from the center so drastically that they nearly fell off two of them, and the other two are mashed together. It's clear that it didn't occur due to the buttercream melting during travel, but they were simply put together poorly. It was quite disappointing given they were for a children's party, and if I am to purchase again I will definitely only buy cupcakes from the front that I can see ahead of time to be sure they're put together properly.

My husband and I are gluten & dairy-intolerant, so we spent a lot of time trying to find somewhere to order our wedding cake from! Sweet Spot Cupcakes did NOT disappoint!! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Usually, gluten-free cakes/pastries are dry and crumbly, but this cake was moist and tasted like regular cake! The icing was vegan and the perfect amount of sweetness. I ordered the cake on relatively short notice (about 5-6 weeks), and they had no problem accepting the order! I dropped off our cake topper and loose artificial flowers, and the bakery decorated our cake with them. They were great at keeping in touch and asking questions to ensure our cake was exactly as we envisioned. The day after our wedding, it was my nephew’s 1st birthday party, and his cake smash cake was also from Sweet Spot! We ordered cupcakes for the birthday party, and guests were raving about how delicious they were. We would HIGHLY recommend Sweet Spot Cupcakes!
