Sweet Without Wheat

If you are gluten free and miss truly delicious baked goods, Sweet Without Wheat is an absolute must. I’m a makeup artist in the DMV area, and I learned I had a gluten allergy in early 2020. For years, so many of my brides and clients told me I had to try Sweet Without Wheat — but with such a busy schedule, I never found the time. I finally did, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. I ordered chocolate chip cookies (two varieties), cinnamon rolls, and cherry almond frangipane hand pies — and every single item was phenomenal. Moist, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and absolutely nothing like the dry, cardboard-tasting gluten-free baked goods so many of us have unfortunately encountered. What truly sets Diana apart is her passion. You can feel the care, skill, and love she pours into her baking. Finding someone who not only understands gluten-free baking, but masters it while creating desserts that are genuinely delicious, is incredibly rare. Absolute gold mine of a gluten free bakery small business! The GF pie crust is better than any regular pie crust I’ve tasted. We ordered the pumpkin roll for Thanksgiving and it was incredible. A lot of time and effort has been put into these recipes. Customer service is amazing - friendly, clear communication and there are many accommodations offered for dietary needs, in addition to gluten free. Four out of five of us in the house have celiac disease - having a local option like this is huge. Highly recommend Sweet Without Wheat!
