I loved this place because of the decor more than anything. A lot of it was inherited from owner to owner. For the older Midwestern crowd : you remember those Old Style stained glass pendant lamps from bars back in the day? They're there. 70's wood paneling on the walls. Nostalgic and modern artwork paired together. It felt both new and old at the same time.
The food is great and fairly priced! Well made American favorites with gluten free buns that my boyfriend appreciated greatly without any issues. He had a burger and I had grilled cheese. The staff were friendly. Navigating the old building to get to the bathrooms is a bit confusing. I would definitely go back
