If you have a severe gluten allergy, be careful. Gluten-free toasties are cooked with the normal toasties. The knives they use are also very quickly washed with water, nothing else. Hand washing is minimal.
Some of the sandwiches use sesame/nut-based toppings, which are placed on the toastie after cooking. This results in it going over the chopping boards, which are very rarely cleaned.
I've spoken with a former employee, and what they've described is a very toxic workplace. Employees are discouraged from having two jobs, even though regular shifts are never guaranteed.
They have also discussed employees of the cafe yelling at Uber Eat's driver and other delivery staff.
