Great brunch! They have gluten free options! Which is great I got to order something besides eggs! Mimosa flight was yummy! Servers friendly and kind. Prices standard. Recommend 10/10

Toast Breakfast and Lunch, tucked away in Temecula, is a breakfast lover’s dream and the kind of place where you’d feel good about unbuttoning your jeans after a hearty meal—if only we were still living in the age of low-rise pants. This independent spot has a warm, down-to-earth vibe that makes it feel like a cozy breakfast nook straight out of your Pinterest board, minus the DIY anxiety. The decor is a delightful mix of rustic charm and modern touches, perfect for those “casual brunch with friends” Instagram shots. It’s the kind of place where mason jars make frequent appearances, but thankfully, nobody’s trying to sell you overpriced kombucha. The open layout and soft lighting add to the welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for everything from family gatherings to a quiet meal with a good book. As for the service, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier if they tried. They were quick to smile, even quicker to refill my coffee, and made excellent menu suggestions without a hint of pretentiousness. When I politely asked for less whipped cream on my Sweet Potato Pumpkin Pancakes, they complied—though I suspect they may have a quota to meet because that whipped cream mountain could have suffocated a small animal. But hey, they tried! Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the Corned Beef Skillet, and let me just say, if this dish could speak, it would say, “Sit down, you’re home now.” The skillet was packed with savory, tender corned beef, crispy potatoes, and fresh veggies, all crowned with a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg. It was the kind of hearty meal that convinces you a nap should follow breakfast, and I’m not mad about it. The Sweet Potato Pumpkin Pancakes were like autumn on a plate—fluffy, warm, and spiced just right. Though they went a little overboard with the whipped cream, the pancakes themselves were delicious. Each bite tasted like a warm hug from your favorite sweater, and honestly, that’s all I’m looking for in life. The menu is like a breakfast and lunch choose-your-own-adventure. Whether you’re a die-hard egg enthusiast, a pancake devotee, or just someone trying to figure out if avocado toast is worth the hype (spoiler: it is), you’ll find something to love. They also have a nice variety for those who are gluten-free, vegetarian, or just indecisive. When it comes to pricing, Toast hits that sweet spot between “treat yourself” and “ok, I can still pay my rent.” The Corned Beef Skillet was around $14, and the Sweet Potato Pumpkin Pancakes were $12—totally reasonable for the portion sizes, which, let’s be honest, are big enough to feed you and your food-stealing friend. Cleanliness? Spot on. This place was as neat as your mom’s kitchen during Thanksgiving prep, and the bathrooms were equally pristine. I didn’t see any health protocols that would make you want to break into a rendition of “Safety Dance,” but everything felt clean and comfortable. Overall, Toast Breakfast and Lunch gets my full recommendation, especially if you’re looking for a place that feels like a hug in restaurant form. It’s great for family outings, brunch with friends, or even a solo breakfast with a book. Just watch out for the whipped cream—unless you’re trying to set a world record.

Gluten free pancake was delicious as was everything! We were too hungry to take pictures and the food was too delicious. I enjoyed the raised booths, didn’t make the place feel too packed.
