Kathy our waitress was just a joy ! My daughter is gluten free and almost everything on the menu was gf but I a non gluten free eater couldn’t tell the difference Best burrito and enchiladas we have had in forever and the deserts were Both wows

I have celiac and sadly live in Rutland VT where the disease seems to be poorly understood. Taco Fresco understands! I was able to chose from almost their entire menu. Plus to make sure there was no chance they still treated my food in a way to stop cross contamination. Then to top it all off their desert menu is 100% gluten free. I had a churo for the first time in YEARS! As my gluten free people know usually gluten free means it tastes like sadness and memories. Not here! Everything was delicious in the way that makes us celiac people wary but also in the absolute best way! Thank you Taco Fresco for taking up a niche here in the city! We needed you!

Would I call it Mexican good? As someone who lived for ten years in southern California ... No. Not even close. You'd get better Mexican at Chili's. It's more like an upscale Chipotle. Service was ok. I asked for a water and a non alcoholic beverage ... And I only got the non alcoholic beverage. Asked for my water again and it took ten minutes to arrive. Food took a while to arrive as well. And it wasn't particularly busy - it was 3pm on a Sunday. Very few gluten free options, no kids options.
