Talk of the Mountain Crab Cakes and more

The food was very good....but we were a little disappointed. Not in the quality or taste...we were just expecting a bigger crab cake from the description and recommendations we had received from friends. We ordered the crab cake plate which came with 2 sides and po boys. We selected fries and coleslaw. The crab cake is gluten free (nice!) as there is no filler, and it was very good. There weren't a lot of fries, but they were crispy and well salted. The small mound of coleslaw was a bit sweet for our taste. The 2 small hush puppies were tasty (perfect). We would have liked more of them. At just under $29 for the plate before tax and tip, it was a bit pricey for the fast food atmosphere--lack of plates & silverware--the food comes in non-recycleable takeout containers with packaged plastic utensils. All in all, the food was very good and would have made for a nice picnic once transferred to plates and eaten with a glass of wine.
