Landlord was really friendly and and welcoming, recommended a particularly drinkable blonde beer (I think it was called Pagan Queen, gluten free too) which went down very nicely indeed! My wife had a Dark & Stormy with the lovely Alnwick Rum. Oh, and the pub has a tree from floor to ceiling in the middle of the bar...
