Got sick after eating here.
I am allergic to gluten and saw many gluten free options on the menu. Right off the bat, the Baba ganoush with pita appetizer was mislabeled as gluten free on the dine in menu. Spoke to a server and was met by a condescending tone that I'm not the first gluten free person to dine here and they make everything separately. He confidently told me the curries are all safe, but when I was about to order one, I decided to ask a few more questions. Turns out the kofta in the curry is fried in the same fryer as samosas and other gluten items. This makes it unsafe for celiacs and those with severe gluten allergies. This restaurant should be putting a disclaimer that the fryer is shared (and maybe list items as gluten friendly, not gluten free). They should also be educating their servers about what is safe and not before they confidently tell customers their concerns are unwarranted.
I ordered a daal, which I thought to be the safest option. The taste was mediocre and I still got sick after eating.
