Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Pier 4

We were encouraged by family to visit Tatte Bakery and Cafe and it did not disappoint! We went to the Pier 4 location and not only was the food was wonderful, the staff was, too, including a kind and pleasant server named Victoria, who was so helpful! It was a great experience! We especially were happy to see how well they cater to dietary needs, with a wide selection of gluten free options. We’ll be back for sure.

Horrible customer service and manager. I have a gluten allergy and ordered the scrambled eggs. They ran out of gluten free bread, which I was fine with. I requested that they leave off the side of sourdough bread due to my allergy. They refused. I asked to speak with the manager and she said they won’t sell the eggs without the bread even though I had an allergy. I asked if it could be on a separate plate and she said, “you can just remove it yourself.” I then asked why she wouldn’t just remove the bread, since I had an allergy and it was not a sandwich, just a side. And she said we just won’t do it. I love the other Tatte locations and they are always accommodating. This genuinely made no sense. Please train your staff better!
