Pros: Good atmosphere. Excellent beer list. One of the few places in Pittsburgh to get Chicago style pizza.
Negatives: Prices are a little high, especially for average quality pizza in a city brimming with GREAT pizza. Our appetizer arrived 30 minutes after ordering, and only after we pointed out that it was missing when we were served one of our two pizzas. The second pizza was served cold, right after the appetizer was delivered, insinuating it had been sitting for a while. (There were only 2 other parties seated for dinner, so they weren't very busy.) The gluten-free pizza we ordered was indistinguishable from the GF pizza at Vocelli's, which costs significantly less than what Tavern Pizza charged.
