Tavern 42

Even though they don't have a glutenfree menu, Bianca gave me several choices. She was extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the food was well made, homemade, seasoned well and delicious. Portions were generous. We will definitely return.

My family and I stopped in for a late lunch for the first time today. We fell in love with this restaurant/bar. The bartender, Ethan got us started with drinks but I ended up asking him so many questions about gluten free options that he decided to continue on as our waiter. Ethan was wonderful and put up with all my questions going back in the kitchen to consult with the chef many times. We ordered 3 appetizers, Supreme Nachos, Chicken Wings with honey bbq sauce, and the shrimp in garlic. All the food was delicious and gluten free. All the sauces were homemade including the ranch and sour cream. I have never had gluten free ranch dressing from a restaurant before and this particular ranch dressing was the best the rest of my family ever tasted and couldn't believe it was gluten free. From the relaxed atmosphere, wonderful service and food while listening to some of my favorite 80's music made the experience more sweeter. I will be back soon & tell my friends and family about Tavern 42. I can't wait to try some of the full meals and delicious specials offered from Thursday - Sunday evening.
