Let's start with the fact that they have gluten free pasta! It's so delicious, you'd never know it GF. My father said it's the best spaghetti hes ever had. The fresh sliced prosciutto is beyond amazing!!!!! The atmosphere is nice, patio is heated (great for the winter) and our server, Ricky, was phenomenal, attentive, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I can't recommend this place, and Ricky, more.

Taverna is located in Uptown near the Katy Trail. This means that parking can be challenging. We had great service! Dietary restrictions limited my choices. They do have gluten free pasta available. I opted for a gluten free pizza instead. There weren't any gf desserts in the menu.
