I can’t over emphasize how amazing our time was here. We let them know in advance it was our wedding anniversary and there wasn’t a single staff member we interacted with that didn’t make a point to tell us “Happy Anniversary.” - it was so lovely! They even gave us a special Anniversary menu! Every single sip and bite was exquisite. We’ve been to Italy and we’ve eaten true Italian food- this is the real deal. But what really seals this as a “must go” is the service. Brittany, our server, was so amazing. She made us feel welcome and appreciated. She was extremely knowledgeable and truly elevated our experience. Brett and Connor were both extremely helpful as well. Connor was our sommelier recommending the perfect bottle of wine in our price point. I nearly forgot to mention that I’m gluten feee and Brittany made sure that everything I ate was safe. She knew the menu top to bottom. Overall, 11/10 ❤️ Brittany tipped the scale!

Overpriced and disappointing. I ordered the baked al forno, which was described as having a bechamel sauce to it, but was dry as a bone minus what seemed like some sort of consomme drizzled around it. Without a sauce to carry any flavor, it also tasted quite bland. For some reason, they also didn't provide a sharper knife to cut through the pasta, so I had to saw through it with a butter knife. I feel like they may have given me some dairy free version because my partner couldn't have dairy, so I don't know if the service was bad or the food. My partner ordered a ragu with gluten free fusili, which seemed like it came out of a box. Which is fine, but don't charge home made pasta prices for it? If it was home made, it was severely undercooked, so my guess is that the kitchen didn't know gf pasta takes longer to cook. We also asked for cheese on the side and instead didn't receive any cheese until we had to ask for it. We were excited to come here, but I've had better Italian meals at Olive Garden.

It is delightful to celebrate Michigan Wolverines’ victory in March Madness on Saturday night! Congratulations Wolverines ! The food is rich in flavor! Our gluten allergy is well accommodated! The service is excellent. Our host is attentive and friendly. The environment is romantic and well designed. Need not mention the convenient location of the restaurant is a few steps away of Union Station Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and sure that we would return to this place !
