Tea Rooms at the Pet Cemetery

There was an innocent mix up due to the meaning of the 'half-and-half' afternoon tea we ordered, but the staff were great dealing with it, nothing was too much trouble, and we may have ended up with an extra scone (A* for that). I'm gluten-free and my afternoon tea didn't even hint at being any different to the regular one; it was plentiful, tasty, and delicious and the lemon cake is SO good, I want to marry it. My second visit this year and I'll be coming back for sure; both the food and the staff are lovely.

First visit here today.......lovely food and drinks. Cakes looked so good but we had to take them home as full after the tasty sandwiches. Plenty of room inside with tables on the verandah also. Liked the idea of a picnic hamper to have on the benches by the duck pond. Lots of choices on the menu including gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan. Booking obviously adviseable for the afternoon teas......traditional and savoury. Asked about group bookings and said yes, as long as we told them the numbers in advance. Definitely recommend here.
