I was very disappointed with my first and now to be only visit to Teaspoon on oracle and Ina. I made a reservation two days prior and asked exactly where they were on oracle and Ina that I knew it was by Whole Foods but where exactly. I was told by Orange Theory and that you have to walk through a little alleyway to get there. To my surprise they didn’t have a reservation for my party of four. I was told I probably made it for the other location and they could fit us in but it would be a twenty minute wait. I knew the hostess was wrong I made it for the Ina location. It wasn’t until my husband pulled out his phone to show her the text message he received confirming the reservation at yes the phone number of that location we were at. Then we were seated right away. Two days ago I specifically asked about gluten free bread and was assured they have it and it was not a problem. I ordered it to be told the gluten free toaster was broken so they didn’t have it. Then one of my party ordered a meal with soup and asked for the soup to come out first. We were fully into our main meals when I noticed she never got her soup. It took us time to even track down someone to ask and we finally talked to our waiter. We were told they ran out of soup. I asked if she could have a salad to go since it was too late to get that out first. He said yes. But what a disappointment we were never informed they were out of soup and she was never offered a salad instead. The food was positively not worth going back for. A disappointment to be honest and not worth the money. From not having the reservation to not having gluten free bread as an option to running out of soup and not being told by the waiter until we had to flag him down to ask to not being offered any refills on my coffee or water and the quality of the food we will not be going back. My husband stated you could not pay him to go back there. Very very disappointing. I didn’t even want to rank the place one star.

My first Teaspoon experience, trying the Spanish chorizo omelette for breakfast/brunch, truly impressed me! The chorizo inside was authentic and extra flavorful (nice and chewy), and the roasted potatoes that joined had just the right bit of roasted crunch. Service was equally excellent, and prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Plus, the gluten-free toast I asked for was actually good and bigger than a postage stamp (for those who order GF toast regularly, you know why this is nice ;).

My husband and I came for lunch. They have a wonderful menu with tons of variety. My husband had scampi and angel hair pasta. I got a lobster & crab omelet. The omelet had way too much egg for filling. I don't like tomatoes so they were left off leaving the omelet dry and not enough cheese possibly to add moisture. A sauce like on eggs benny would have helped tremendously. There just wasn't much crab or lobster. My husbands dish was delicious. He loved it. He got a hearty portion and it was well seasoned. I'm GF so that always mades it a bit harder although they had really good gluten free bread as the option. Of course some of the salads etc were GF. I would not order an omelet again but something else. It was extremely loud when we were there and it was a full house.
