Since the restaurant offers gluten-free options and I have celiac disease, I wanted to ask the waiter whether the dishes were also suitable for people with celiac disease. To my surprise, neither the waiters nor the chef knew what celiac disease was supposed to be, and the gluten-free pizza option is made in the same oven as the regular pizza. In the future, I would like the staff to be better informed about allergens/intolerances, as this represents a significant health risk for people of my type.
