Ted's Bulletin - Reston

My experience was less than stellar this time around. I came to celebrate for my birthday on 12/20 and was looking forward to having the Steak and eggs again after enjoying it so much about a month ago. I have a severe gluten allergy so I am limited on what I can eat. Coming to this same location back in November vs a month later was like a completely different restaurant. My grits were extremely salty, my steak was over salty, and the fruit cup I ordered the fruit was sour. I could have maybe overlooked the food not being as amazing as it was last month if the service had been better. Our server acted like she couldn't be bothered from the moment we sat down. When my husband started ordering she was looking at him almost like she was lost and surprised that he was ready to order. Then our table was so tiny I had to ask the hostess for a slightly larger booth because our server disappeared. The new table was directly across from where we had already been seated and she put our food at the table we were no longer at and we had to inform her that we were behind her. After we received our food she stood at one of the stations with other servers and just stared at us which was uncomfortable. I then had had to chase her down to get our check and although the food wasn't even worth paying for we paid for without complaining and left and with the decision we would not be returning to your location. As an individual who has a severe gluten allergy it's sad because there aren't to many enjoyable and good food options. I hope that you take a look at improving the overall quality of your food so there is a consistent standard and although I know exactly what our servers name was I won't name her because this is about the quality of or food and experience

Came in to Ted’s Bulletin, Reston for dinner and had a great experience. I have been to other locations but it was my first time at the Reston location. The food was great and our server was amazing! Mike was very friendly and helped me find a gluten free option that was really good, which can be hard to find. I had the steak frites plate and I will definitely be ordering it again. Mike kept our drinks full and recommended the deviled eggs as an appetizer, which was also very good. We will be visiting this location again! Thank you!
